The Cambridge Gulf is a large inner gulf within the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf. It is approximately 130 km long to the mouth, consisting of eight major rivers, and a maze of mangrove estuaries and creeks.

Look Sea tours travels 60 km down the lower part of the gulf to fish the saltwater, mangrove estuaries, pending on the season and tides your guide selects the prime spot for the day.

A 5 hour island tour takes you through the middle section of the gulf through a narrow section of an escarpment, around the middle Islands. You can see the huge tidal forces, whirlpools, eddies and you maybe lucky to see the odd crocodile sunning on the mud flats.

Cruises through the scenic narrow pass called The Gutt, bringing you out to a opening of water below the Cockburn Ranges where three major rivers meet the gulf, The King, Pentacost and the Durack River. The colours on the plateau are forever changing hue with the downing of the sun's light.
